Pulang Sawal Beach, which later became better known as Indarayati Beach, offers an enchanting panoramic beauty compared to other beaches in Gunungkidul that many tourists visit. The location is located right on the east side of Sundak Beach which is only limited by coral hills.

At first, the name Indrayanti was not the name of the beach, but the name of the owner of the cafe and restaurant. Since the name Indrayanti is displayed on the signboard of the beach cafe and restaurant, finally the people call this beach by the name of Indrayanti Beach.



To go to Indrayanti Beach, from the center of the city of Yogyakarta the distance is approximately 66 kilometers with the travel time here about 2 hours drive. But, you are still advised to bring your own vehicle or rent a vehicle. Because, from the center of Yogyakarta City there is still no public transportation available to take you to this beach location.

If you start the journey from the center of Yogyakarta City, the route that must be taken, namely the City of Yogyakarta heading to the Wonosari road (east ringroad), then heading towards Piyungan - Patuk - Wonosari - Karangrejek - Hargosari - Tepus. From tepus just follow the road directions to the beach.
